This Sony Hp-161 is a vintage record player/stereo receiver It has a BSR turntable on top, am/fm stereo radio and a cassette input as well. The turntable gets stuck OCCASIONALLY. Could use a good grease/lube - but it works fine if you just give it the slightest nudge if it slows. The automatic record changer works fine! It may need an adjustment by someone experienced because it lays the stylus down slightly off the beginning of the album. This hasn’t been adjusted or tuned in probably 35 years. Just needs some care. This does not come with original speakers but I had a set of beautiful vintage Panasonic bookshelf speakers that matched the watts/ohms and I customized the wire to adapt for RCA input. The Panasonic speakers have been customized to work perfectly with this unit. Super lid, crisp and sounds beautiful. Feels as though you are back in the 70s :) See pictures for detail of any cosmetic flaws - the treble/bass levers have a very slight bend (see pics) This is such an awesome vintage setup - sounds great and is ready to go! Need to have Rca style speakers to use! The top dust cover can be slid off and removed ! Sold as is - buyer pays the shipping SHIPS IN TWO BOXES TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO UNIT OR SPEAKERS
