Vintage Dynaco Stereo Set w/ Stereo 120, Pat-4 & FM-5 In Rare CAB-2S Cabinet Built in the early seventies, this Dynaco Stereo system is three separate components. The set consists of a Stereo 120 amplifier, a Pat-4 preamp and an FM-5 tuner. The Tuner and Preamp are mounted in a factory CAB-2S walnut veneer cabinet. This equipment is all original. I removed the covers, cleaned the decades of dust out of everything and applied Deoxit to all the switches and potentiometers. LED dial lamps have been installed on the FM-5 tuner dial. I Cleaned all metal surfaces and polished the aluminum faceplates and chrome chassis on the Stereo120 . Treated the wood case with Howards, Restor-a-finish. Reassembled and tested all functions, with all the inputs and outputs passing a signal. Please look at the pictures closely for condition, you won’t be disappointed. There is some slight patina from oxidation on the back metal finish of the preamp and tuner. A few light scratches on the CAB-2S wood cabinet from normal use are present, however they covered quite nicely with the Howards treatment. The only thing of note is it could use a tuner alignment; the dial is off a little and it didn’t pull a lot of stations. Close stations activated the stereo indicator light and the tuning meter and light both operate. The Pat-4 preamp and Stereo 120 function properly and the chrome chassis on the 120 is in very good condition with only a few spots on it. Included is a printed and bound copy of the Owner’s/Operators manual for all three pieces. Will not be cheap to ship. It will ship in two boxes. Box one weighs 24 pounds box two weighs in at 21 pounds. Because I have to declare shipping I figure west coast shipping from the mid-west for cost. I do not profit from shipping and handling.
