SANYO GXT-747A Stereo System
Volume Sliders were noisy (staticky) when first acquired.
Cleaned and lubricated all switches, potentiometers and equalizer sliders for noise free operation. The phono turns at about half speed so does not work. The same with both cassette players they tried to turn slowly but really did not work. However, the AM/FM tuner works fine.
******NOTE***** (please read below before purchasing)
Tape Deck 1 and 2 did not work
one started to work but began to eat the tape so stopped it.
Phono platter spins slowly needle made sound across speakers when touched (needle intact with cover)
you must move the arm and place near the beginning for the table to spin
AM/FM works find Sounds great (both channels) after cleaning the potentiometers and switches
Unit was cleaned (was very dirty and dusty. Would make a nice garage stereo or?
