If you were around in the 90s and early 2000s then you already know Aiwa systems are some of the best sounding stereos out there. These systems thump!! These are becoming more rare to find. Especially in good condition. This 1997 Aiwa CX - NA31 Super T Bass 3 disc CD and dual cassette stereo is a very rare and well preserved system. The CD player tray opens and closes and rotates smoothly and plays CDs properly. Both Cassette decks open and close smoothly and properly. They both play the tapes properly and sound great. They do not eat the cassettes. Both decks rewind and fast forward is sporadic and will occasionally stop on its own. It sounds like a belt is slipping squealing right before it stops. It's sporadic though and doesn't always do it.Both decks could probably use a detailed cleaning and the belts replaced . The volume knob on the system is sporadic . It still works but is finicky and you have to turn the knob a few times to achieve the level of volume desired. The remote control works flawlessly for all functions and looks new . The tuner functions properly. This system doesn't come with an AM/FM antenna! The Karaoke function, headphones, both Mic 1 & 2 and recording option were not tested. This system has Video/Audio input option on back where a RCA blue tooth adapter etc can be connected. It has a sub woofer output and surround sound RCA jacks. The speakers function properly and sound fabulous. Cosmetically the entire system is in top condition with few blemishes noticed under scrutiny. This rare vintage system is in overall great shape and has been well preserved. Free shipping within mainland USA determined at close of sale by seller. Thanks for looking!!
