No cut wires, if you sell your vehicle simply unplug the aftermarket radio and re-plug in the factory radio. For installation simply unplug your factory radio from the in dash harness. Match up colors to wire in aftermarket harness to aftermarket radio then plug into the factory in dash harness. Bose Amp Harness Allows you to tie into factory wiring without cut or splicing, which allows you direct access to car speaker lines. Comes pre-labeled and can be used in two different ways: The recommended and easiest way; add a six channel aftermarket amplifier (such as a JL audio amp) that supports low impedance speakers. To accomplish this you will have run RCA cables from the new aftermarket head unit to the current Bose amplifier location. You will also need an amp power kit to power the aftermarket amp. The second way is to bypass the Bose amplifier by running speaker wires from the aftermarket head unit to Bose Amp harness. The aftermarket head unit must be able to support low impedance speakers or you will have to replace all factory speakers with aftermarket speakers. Professional installation is recommended for those wanting to bypass their amplifiers. The antenna adapter Used to adapt the factory antenna end to the standard Motorola male end need to plug in to your new aftermarket radio. This plug may not work if you have installed an aftermarket antenna, as most of those do not require adaptation.
