Panasonic Stereo System

This Panasonic sa-ak110 has amazing sound, with really deep bass,and has various presets for different types of genres of music.   The Cd player has been thoroughly tested and works great for loading up to 5 cds at a time and switching between cds.  I've also tested the aux ports on the back, an it works great for connecting your phone/iPad to the stereo with rca cables.  The tape players, however, do not work, and I'm not sure what the problem is.  When I hit play, it runs for about 3 seconds, then stops, and doesn't make any sound.  But for CDs and Aux use it is a fantastic unit.  I don't currently have an antenna to include with the stereo, but I just tested the radio out using the speaker wire from one of the speaker and it worked fine.
A remote will be included, with brand new batteries I just put in.
