Speakers are rated 4 to 8 Ohms and at 6 Ohms continuous. It is very difficult to find these speakers in this amazing condition. These Bose speakers accept bare raw speaker wire. These speakers sound amazing and are extremely versatile they can be used in a number of different applications including but not limited to home audio systems, home theater systems, restaurants, offices, garage speakers, Man-cave audio systems, and the list goes on and on... THEY TRULY CAN NOT BE COMPARED TO THE NEW INFERIOR MODELS... Speakers: These speakers are in beautiful lightly used condition and 100% working. 100% working, means 100% tested/inspected and hooked up to a calibrated GOM-805 four-wire milliohm meter with a temperature compensating probe for accuracy. Sound Inspection: Speakers are not just tested for sound, but actually listened to and with different types of music for distortion, crackling, and sound inconsistencies, and finally for overall sound quality and the results are that they sound amazing! Physical Inspection: Housing is meticulously inspected for extensive wear or damage such as cracks or gouges. The terminals are inspected for workability and wire retention. Grills are inspected for discoloration, stains, or a broken grill frame and also tested for grill retention to housing. Speakers were inspected for damage or wear to the surround, dust cap, and cone.
