NEW NOS-all original vintage Mid Century Modern Solid State AM/FM Stereo Multiplex Systems Model 4370
This is an original vintage mid- century modern piece of stereo equipment that was removed from it's box but never used so it is 100% NEW NOS (New Old Stock)
This is a rarity to find one new... It has the original owners manual and instruction guide!
It has a turntable that plays 16/33/45/78 speeds the 2 grates on each side are actually speakers which work fine and you can adjust the volume/treble/bass/balance/AM/FM/AFC/MPX/PHONO ( turntable ) and tape as well as tuning ... However there is NO tape player associated with this unit. There's also a stereo headphone jack.
The turntable and AM/FM stereo work fine however the turnable is a bit tricky...I think I found the needle as it makes a noise when you touch it but I'm having trouble playing 33 speed records as I believe this needle to be a 78 speed needle, I am not familiar with this model so I believe that's what this is as I do not have any 33 speed needles at this time to test it so it's being sold like this as you see it there's a picture of said needle in photo 12 maybe someone could shed some light on it for me. I believe you can change out these needles due to the "needle selector" section of the instructions.
They're are only 2 small Knicks in the 2 of the corners one in the rear left and one in the lower right...I did them myself actually so I'm to blame... They're nothing serious.
It measures 36" long x41" wide x10" high.
This is a gem... To find an original made in Japan model is super rare. I will take great care in shipping it.
P.S. there was some duct tape holding the arm and cartridge together so they wouldn't move and they left a residue... I'm working on getting it off but it shows in the photos.
