Klipsch Promedia 4.1 Speakers Thx-certified Personal Audio System

This is a rare, 400 watt THX-certified personal computer surround audio system by Klipsch. Nothing matches it on the market today--the ProMedia 4.1. It is similar to its predecessor, the V.2-400. The ProMedia produces clear sound to a pair of front satellite speakers and surround sound/special effects to a pair of rear satellite speakers. A 4.1 or higher sound card /analog signal source is needed to take advantage of the surround sound/special effects present in movies and games. An inexpensive splitter (available separately or can be included upon request) can be used if you prefer to hear the same music from the rear speakers as from the front, or if you only have a single headphone /stereo signal source.
This is in excellent working condition. Very good cosmetic condition. It comes in the original box, and has a number of new, improved quality parts to make them better than when new.  I have been restoring and improving Klipsch ProMedia computer speaker systems since 2005.
I have two of these available. One has very little evidence of having been used (practically no dust, even beneath the grills, and little evidence of heat in the circuit boards, which normally discolor). Even though it was apparently practically unused, I refoamed the foam speaker surrounds for the two 6.5" sub speakers. The speakers looked pristine (see last photo), but that foam was brittle. The new rubber surrounds are better than getting a little-used 20-year old ProMedia 4.1 system. Whichever of the two systems you receive, they have new 6.5" rubber surrounds and will perform identically--like new! Amplifier
: The amplifier has nine new, upgraded parts (Japanese/Panasonic capacitors, higher wattage resistors). Also, the four new components that would get hot are mounted above the circuit board to stay cooler. Preamplifier :
The preamplifier volume control pod has new potentiometers for main volume and surround volume. One system has a pod that is practically new (very few signs of use), and the other system has a new DIN plug and cable. This system has the parts replaced/upgraded that I replace for every ProMedia 4.1 amplifier that I repair or sell. 6.5" Drivers:
The two original Klipsch 6.5” subwoofer drivers (speakers) have new rubber surrounds (instead of foam surrounds). Warranty:  A one year warranty is included.
