These JVC car stereos came off display at a local big box store. All these decks were tested and are in working condition. All the stereos will have small nicks on the trim or casing and or

While JVC loaded a generous number of music options in their KD-R980BTS CD receiver, they also included a 3-zone variable color display letting you rev up or tone down your dash. The KD-R980BT will pair with a Bluetooth-equipped phone automatically — no more digging into complex menu settings to pair your phones. When you have to share the ride, this JVC enables you to pair two Bluetooth-equipped phones and quickly switch between them for hands-free calling and audio streaming.

When used with your smartphone, this versatile JVC gives you control over music from Pandora® and iHeartRadio® Internet radio stations. You can also add a

A cool remote app
JVC offers a new free "Remote" app, available for both iPhone or Android phones, that gives you control over your receiver directly from your smartphone. You can scroll through your music, select tracks, change sources, and see artist and song information right on your phone — handier than waiting for the info to scroll across the radio's display.
Sound adjustments
Once the music's going, you can refine your sound with the onboard 13-band graphic equalizer – that's a lot of tone-shaping capability. JVC's K2 technology spruces up the sound of overly compressed digital music with some clever processing. Since many car speakers are located down low in the doors, the KD-R980BTS offers Sound Lift, which adjusts your music's frequencies to virtually "raise" your speakers for better, more natural imaging. If you're adding amplifiers or a powered subwoofer, the two sets of 4-volt preamp outputs provide you the clean signal you need for added output.
Want to keep your car's steering wheel audio controls?
In most cars, you'll need an adapter to retain those controls with this car stereo. Connect a few wires, then program the adapter for your particular car and radio, and you'll retain the convenience of your steering wheel controls.
