This is one of the first MCS series contracted for JC Penney house brand. MCS REPLACED Penncrest in the early 1970s. Has both large MCS & smaller JC Penny logo. The latter was omitted from the front on all future MCS stereo products. Manufactured in Taiwan comparable quality & look to a Pionner or Kenwood of the same period Rated at 22 watts RMS per channel. Has most desired twin center & antenna signal tuning meters Twin tape monitors 2 sets of speakers plus shut off switch for headphone use, Headphone jack,1 aux for PC audio hookup for internet radio or CD player.
Also heavy weighted flywheel tuning, triple fuse holders(with screw cap)(rear)for easy replacement. Swing out ferrite for AM. Both tuner sections very selective.
Has Phono input for turntable.
Fully operational on all modes and required NO repairs.
